The 2013 season Of the Orlando magic was one that was quite intruding going into the new season 2013-2014. With stars in the making like Nikola Vucevic, the high flyer DeQuan Jones, and a newly acquired Josh McDaniels, anchored by the cornerstone, Jameer Nelson running the point for his up and coming 9th season, the teams hopes are looking up as the draft grew near.
Then there was another series of moves that sent those individuals out and brought in a new set of players to go along with Nelson and company. With point powerhouse Arron Afflalo, and eight year veteran Jason Maxell, a block party extraordinaire, and the exit on a Magic’s legend, Hedo Turkoglu, the team looks to go younger and faster.
The draft found the team in a great position to pick up the new star screamer in the making, Victor Oladipo to go with the power of the teams center and guard play.
This season looks to be promising of an even better start to a growing team.
